Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan.
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to ensure all repairs meet industry and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts usage and labor hours.
- Source and order high-quality parts and supplies while managing inventory efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards in the workshop.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Certification from a recognized automotive technical school or equivalent vocational training.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in automotive applications.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, scan tools, and specialized automotive software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
