Responsibility
- Perform routine chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including spectrometers, chromatographs, and titrators, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Document and report test results, maintaining detailed records for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues, providing technical support as needed.
- Follow strict safety protocols and laboratory procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Calibrate and validate laboratory instruments to ensure precision and accuracy in testing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures to enhance product quality.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize laboratory processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Proven experience as a Chemical Technician or in a similar laboratory role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical analysis techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and titration.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using laboratory software and data management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
