Responsibility
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on plant machinery to minimize downtime.
- Follow strict safety protocols and SOPs to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Perform quality control checks on chemical compounds and adjust processes as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Document all production activities, deviations, and corrective actions in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the scaling of chemical batches and ensure consistency in product specifications.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of chemical safety, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Hands-on experience with process control systems, reactors, and distillation equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, and batch records.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in 12-hour shifts and lift moderate weights (up to 25 kg).
- Team player with strong communication skills in English.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) is a plus.
