Responsibility
- Monitor and control chemical manufacturing processes to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant machinery and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify and report potential issues or malfunctions.
- Follow strict safety, health, and environmental (SHE) guidelines to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Record and document production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and process parameters.
- Collaborate with team members to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or abnormal conditions, following established emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Plant Operator or in a similar role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, safety standards, and industrial equipment operation.
- Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA, K3) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks that may require standing, lifting, or climbing.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and process monitoring systems.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
