Responsibility
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of chemical processing equipment and systems in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and record process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rates) to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
- Prepare chemical solutions, samples, and reagents for laboratory testing and production processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production logs, equipment maintenance, and safety reports.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Support quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec certification in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a chemical processing plant, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with chemical processing equipment (e.g., reactors, mixers, pumps, and filtration systems).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, including OSHA, ISO, or local Indonesian regulations (e.g., K3).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods (e.g., titration, spectroscopy, chromatography).
- Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg when required.
