Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook Oriental and Western dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels for your station, minimizing waste and optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and plated according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff and conducting quality checks to uphold culinary excellence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new cooking methods, and emerging ingredients to enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen, with expertise in both Oriental and Western cuisine.
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
