Responsibility
- Prepare and cook Korean dishes according to authentic recipes and established standards.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development, ingredient sourcing, and kitchen operations.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness in compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge of Korean cooking techniques and best practices.
- Adapt recipes and presentations to meet dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings and contribute ideas for improving dishes and processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role, with a focus on Korean cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Korean cooking methods, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
- Excellent knife skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Proven ability to follow recipes precisely while adding creative touches.
- Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset.
