Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to café standards and recipes.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and kitchen operations.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are met at all times.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the team to create innovative and seasonal dishes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Cook, or similar role in a café or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Certification in food safety and hygiene is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is an advantage.
