Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Monitor food quality and consistency, conducting regular taste tests and adjustments as needed.
- Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for seasonal or special dishes.
- Train and develop junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with the procurement team to maintain stock levels.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation practices.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovative and high-quality cuisine.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
