Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Educate customers on our menu offerings, brewing methods, and product origins.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and manage daily sales reports accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and tracking usage.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products, techniques, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (preferred but not required).
- Passion for coffee, tea, and hospitality with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong work ethic, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment is an advantage.
