Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and menu execution.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food items are prepared fresh, on time, and to the highest quality.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior staff.
