Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections, answering questions, and offering expert advice on cheeses and gourmet products.
- Manage daily retail operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensuring the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
- Conduct product tastings and demonstrations to educate customers and enhance their shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Maintain a clean and inviting store environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute promotional events and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, preferably in specialty food or gourmet products.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
- Knowledge of cheeses, charcuterie, and gourmet foods is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
