Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure safe and efficient production of industrial adhesives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet specified standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of production activities, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid Chargeman A4 certification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and train production staff.
- Proficient in using computer applications for record-keeping and reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
