As a Channel Development Manager, you will identify and cultivate high-impact business relationships, negotiate win-win agreements, and implement data-driven strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration. Responsibility
- Develop and execute channel development strategies to expand Cimory Group’s distribution network in Bali and surrounding regions.
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard new partners, retailers, and distributors to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including wholesalers, modern trade, and traditional markets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to refine channel strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align channel development with brand campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., sales volume, market share, partner performance) and report progress to senior management.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess partner performance, address challenges, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in channel development, sales, or business development, preferably in FMCG or retail.
- Proven track record of expanding distribution networks and managing key accounts in Indonesia.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, CRM) to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with Bali’s market dynamics and business culture is highly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Bali and occasionally to other regions.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian; additional local languages (e.g., Balinese) are a bonus.
