Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll for multiple locations in Bali.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations while optimizing tax efficiency for the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Lead the digital transformation of accounting processes by implementing and optimizing accounting software and tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards (e.g., PSAK, IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
