Responsibility
- Execute and monitor accounting processes for the Americas region, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with internal controls.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting standards and best practices across the organization.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
- Participate in audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a multinational corporation or shared services environment is a plus.
