Responsibility
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing, ensuring adherence to local and national tax laws.
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Provide support in audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
