Responsibility
- Assist medical providers during patient consultations by preparing examination rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Escort patients to treatment rooms and ensure their comfort and readiness for procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, patient histories, and chief complaints accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications, injections, or treatments as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws or urine analysis, and prepare specimens for external testing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle front-desk duties including check-ins and billing inquiries.
- Educate patients on post-visit care instructions, medications, and follow-up procedures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Medical Assisting from an accredited institution; certification (e.g., CMA, RMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in using EHR/EMR systems and basic medical software.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, providers, and staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Japanese or Indonesian is advantageous.
