Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve clients’ daily living, work, and leisure skills.
- Educate clients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home modifications to support independence.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, ensuring access to necessary resources and support systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in occupational therapy.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about occupational therapy and its benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration as an Occupational Therapist (recognition in Indonesia or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, preferably in diverse settings (pediatrics, geriatrics, rehabilitation, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive equipment.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
