Responsibility
- Operate electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in warehouses and distribution centers across Bali (Canggu, Denpasar, Kuta, etc.).
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent downtime and ensure 100% compliance with safety standards.
- Design and deliver TESDA NC II-aligned training programs for new forklift operators, including hands-on demonstrations and theoretical instruction.
- Develop and implement safety protocols to reduce workplace accidents, including emergency response drills and hazard identification systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers to optimize storage layouts, improving space utilization by 20%+ through strategic material placement.
- Monitor inventory levels using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and prepare accurate reports for logistics coordinators.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing workshops and Kaizen events, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as a safety ambassador, conducting toolbox talks and promoting a culture of accountability among team members.
Qualifications
- TESDA NC II Certification in Forklift Operation (or equivalent international certification).
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in high-volume logistics or manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record in training or mentoring new operators, with strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic inventory tracking tools.
- Deep understanding of OSHA-equivalent safety regulations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ability to lift up to 25kg and work in fast-paced, physically demanding conditions.
- Problem-solving mindset with experience in root-cause analysis for operational inefficiencies.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.).
