Responsibility
- Assist dentists and specialists during dental procedures, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms according to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) under the supervision of a licensed dentist, following radiation safety guidelines.
- Provide chairside support, including passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, post-treatment care, and preventive dental practices.
- Manage patient records, appointment scheduling, and clinic inventory to support smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the dental team to uphold high standards of care and contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting, Dental Nursing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols (e.g., sterilization, disinfection).
- Experience with dental radiography (X-ray) techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
