Responsibility
- Supervise and manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repair works in compliance with local and international standards.
- Ensure all electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently, adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to prevent downtime and hazards.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians and assistants, providing guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
- Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, logs, and documentation for all electrical works and inspections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to execute projects on time and within budget.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, including risk assessments and emergency response plans.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Certified Chargeman (A4/A3) or Assistant Chargeman (A2) license from a recognized authority (e.g., Energy Commission of Malaysia or equivalent).
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with valid certifications are encouraged to apply; prior experience in electrical maintenance or supervision is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces or heights, as required.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and software for diagnostics and reporting.
