Responsibility
- Develop and implement waste management strategies under PPP agreements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and sustainability goals.
- Oversee waste collection, segregation, and disposal operations, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with government agencies, private partners, and local communities to enhance waste recycling and reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and report on waste management performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental laws and company policies.
- Design and deliver training programs for staff and stakeholders on best practices in waste handling and recycling.
- Lead initiatives to promote circular economy principles, including waste-to-energy and upcycling projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders on program progress and impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in waste management, sustainability, or environmental compliance roles.
- Proven track record in managing PPP projects or similar public-private collaborations.
- Strong knowledge of local and international waste management regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in using waste management software and tools for monitoring and reporting.
- Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is a plus.
