Responsibility
- Operate and monitor boiler systems and DCS equipment to ensure safe and efficient production processes.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on boiler and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize system performance and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and system performance data.
- Respond to emergencies and system failures promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
- Participate in safety training, drills, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior operators and team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Boiler Operator or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., SKKNI, ASME, or local regulatory certification).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in boiler operations, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and related equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operational procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in industrial settings, including exposure to heat, noise, and confined spaces.
