Note: This is a 1-year contract position with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
Responsibility
- Process and validate employee time and attendance data in compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in timekeeping records, ensuring accuracy and timely corrections.
- Generate and distribute reports on attendance, overtime, and leave balances for management review.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure seamless integration of timekeeping data into payroll systems.
- Provide Japanese-language support to employees and stakeholders, including clarifications on timekeeping policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update timekeeping systems, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
- Assist in audits and compliance checks related to time and attendance records.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in time management workflows.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese (N2 level or higher) and professional proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll administration, or HR operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data with accuracy.
- Proficiency in timekeeping software (e.g., Workday, Kronos, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to time and attendance in a multinational environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex processes clearly.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
