Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the central kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment.
- Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen utensils, cookware, and cutlery efficiently.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with environmental guidelines.
- Support the kitchen staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring workstations are well-stocked and organized.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or hazards to the kitchen supervisor.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a steward or kitchen assistant role is preferred but not required.
