Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Support inventory management by organizing and restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Assist in packaging and labeling food items for distribution to various outlets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to kitchen protocols.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a passion for the culinary arts.
