Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Monitor and optimize workflow processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in aerospace component production.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality control measures, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and logistics, to streamline operations and resolve production challenges.
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to foster professional growth.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet operational goals.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management review.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., AS9100).
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP, MES).
