Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and maintaining high culinary standards.
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving kitchen workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Represent Narathai Cuisine with professionalism and passion for Thai cuisine.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Malaysia after initial training in Bangkok.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Thai or Malay is an advantage.
