Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate catering staff to ensure efficient service delivery during events.
- Liaise with clients to understand event requirements, menus, and special requests.
- Oversee the setup, presentation, and breakdown of catering services for weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies to maintain optimal stock.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Train and mentor catering staff to uphold high service standards and professionalism.
- Resolve any service-related issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Proven experience in catering, event management, or a similar supervisory role is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
