Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise a team of catering assistants to ensure efficient service delivery at assigned stations or event venues.
  • Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to align food preparation with service timelines and client specifications.
  • Oversee setup, presentation, and breakdown of catering services, maintaining high standards of hygiene and aesthetics.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm event details, dietary requirements, and custom requests, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Monitor inventory levels of catering supplies, equipment, and ingredients, and place orders as needed.
  • Train and mentor staff on service protocols, customer interaction, and safety compliance.
  • Resolve on-site challenges promptly, including staffing adjustments, last-minute changes, or service disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of service logs, client feedback, and operational reports for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or event management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to manage teams in high-pressure environments, such as weddings, corporate events, or large-scale banquets.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and local health regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
