Responsibility
- Develop and execute category strategies to optimize supplier performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to secure competitive terms.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry innovations to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, quality assurance) to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with JD.com’s quality and ethical standards.
- Analyze spend data and cost structures to identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency gains.
- Prepare and present reports on category performance, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, preferably in e-commerce, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across global teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international supplier markets is highly advantageous.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are a strong plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is beneficial.
