In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and executing category strategies that drive sales growth, optimize product assortment, and enhance the overall customer experience across our nationwide network. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and utilize data-driven insights to stay ahead of consumer trends in the fast-paced retail market.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of our product offerings, ensuring that 7-Eleven remains the go-to destination for Filipino consumers.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive category business plans to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new product opportunities and growth areas.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycles, including assortment planning, pricing strategy, and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiating terms to ensure competitive pricing and supply chain reliability.
- Collaborate with store operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure effective product distribution and shelf-space optimization.
- Monitor and evaluate category performance using key KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Lead product launches and in-store merchandising initiatives to drive customer engagement and transaction value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience in category management, merchandising, or brand management, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in retail management systems and data analysis tools (MS Excel, SAP, or similar).
- A deep understanding of the Philippine retail market and current consumer purchasing trends.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced corporate environment.
