Responsibility
- Develop and implement category strategies for equipment and operational assets to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
- Lead sourcing activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to maintain high standards of quality and service.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and outcomes.
- Prepare and present reports on category performance, savings, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain roles.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Knowledge of logistics and operational asset procurement is a plus.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is advantageous.
