Responsibility
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure cost-effective stock control and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Process purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices accurately and efficiently using SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, finance) to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Monitor market trends, lead times, and supplier performance to mitigate risks and improve supply chain resilience.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses, and KPIs to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or MNC environment.
- Proficient in SAP MM or other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with incoterms, import/export regulations, and global sourcing is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certifications in CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are highly advantageous.
