Responsibility
- Welcoming guests warmly and providing attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience.
- Taking and accurately processing food and beverage orders while offering recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Ensuring tables are set up correctly, maintained, and cleared efficiently to uphold hygiene and presentation standards.
- Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Handling guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalating issues when necessary.
- Operating POS systems and processing payments securely and efficiently.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assisting in training new team members and supporting colleagues during peak service hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is advantageous.
