Responsibility
- Provide warm, professional, and efficient service to guests in accordance with Aston Hotelsā standards.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring prompt delivery to guests.
- Set up and maintain dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations, to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling of cutlery, glassware, and tableware.
- Assist in event setups, including banquets, weddings, and corporate functions, as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies and clearing tables.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or service items.
- Team player with a customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Valid health certificate (if required) and willingness to comply with all safety and hygiene protocols.
