Responsibility
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests in a fine dining setting.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve meals and beverages with precision, adhering to fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table settings and decor.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, including processing tips and service charges.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage pairings, including wine and cocktails.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and tips.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
