Responsibility
- Supervise and train cashiers to ensure high standards of customer service and transaction accuracy.
- Monitor daily cash flow, reconcile cash registers, and prepare deposit reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling and POS transactions.
- Resolve customer complaints and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of cashier supplies and coordinate with management for replenishment.
- Conduct regular audits to prevent fraud and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with store management to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Generate reports on sales performance, cash discrepancies, and other key metrics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within retail or cashiering.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in retail management is a plus.
