Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of cashiers to ensure efficient and accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Monitor daily cash operations, including opening/closing registers, reconciling cash drawers, and preparing financial reports.
- Train, coach, and develop cashiering staff to enhance performance, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and internal controls related to cash management and customer service.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with store management to implement strategies for improving cashiering efficiency and reducing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, refunds, and voids, and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock checks and coordinating with other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cashiering or retail supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume retail environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for financial reconciliation.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic financial reporting.
