Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of cashiers to ensure efficient, accurate, and customer-focused checkout processes.
- Monitor daily cash transactions, reconcile registers, and prepare financial reports for management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate cashier staff to maintain high service standards and compliance with SOPs.
- Resolve customer complaints or discrepancies professionally and promptly to enhance satisfaction.
- Oversee opening/closing procedures, including cash handling, float preparation, and end-of-day balancing.
- Collaborate with inventory and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and stock accuracy.
- Implement promotional programs and upsell strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout area in alignment with company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in retail cashiering, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for cash handling and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in POS systems, MS Office, and basic accounting software.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Diploma or higher in Business, Finance, or related fields is a plus.
