As a Cashier Staff, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily cash transactions, including sales revenue, petty cash, and major cash flows. Your meticulous approach to financial tracking and transaction closing will support the efficiency and accuracy of our branch operations.

Responsibility
- Perform daily cash reconciliation for sales revenue, petty cash, and major cash transactions (inflows and outflows).
- Conduct stock opname (cash audits) to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Close end-of-day branch transactions and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all cash-related activities in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in monthly financial reporting and support audits when required.
- Handle customer transactions efficiently, including payments, refunds, and receipt issuance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any cash-related discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and internal controls to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in cashiering, accounting, or retail finance roles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash management tools is advantageous.
- Honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in financial matters.
