Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and digital wallets with strict adherence to financial protocols.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to enhance the shopping experience and resolve inquiries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding retail area.
- Assist in daily sales reports and ensure cash drawer balances match system records at the end of every shift.
- Support the Store Supervisor in operational tasks, including inventory checks and merchandising displays.
- Promote ongoing store promotions and loyalty programs to customers during checkout.
Qualifications
- At least a Senior High School graduate or possess a Vocational Diploma.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier, Sales Associate, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong numerical skills and high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work well within a team and handle high-pressure situations during peak hours.
