Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Manage cash handling, including opening/closing the register and reconciling daily sales.
- Assist with reservation management and seating arrangements during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Promote cafe specials, loyalty programs, and upsell opportunities to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role (preferably in hospitality).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay composed under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
