Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cinema's point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle ticket sales, concessions, and merchandise purchases with a high level of attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and concession stands.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures, including balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
- Promote ongoing promotions, loyalty programs, and upcoming movie releases to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a retail or entertainment setting.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by cinema schedules.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
