Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and monitoring product levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth retail operations and customer satisfaction.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in retail operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail is a plus.
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions.
