Responsibility
- Perform diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
- Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and pacemaker implantations.
- Operate and maintain advanced cardiac imaging and monitoring equipment.
- Analyze and interpret cardiac data to provide accurate diagnostic reports.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with advancements in cardiovascular technology.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
- Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular lab or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in operating cardiac diagnostic and imaging equipment.
