Responsibility

  • Develop and implement a regional technical services strategy aligned with Boston Scientific’s business objectives for SEA and Emerging Markets.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing technical services team, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of capital medical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to identify service improvements and drive product enhancements based on field insights.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for service performance, including response times, resolution rates, and customer feedback.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize service delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Drive training and certification programs for technical staff and customers to ensure safe and effective equipment usage.
  • Represent Boston Scientific in industry conferences and customer engagements to strengthen brand reputation and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams in medical device or capital equipment industries.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, operational excellence, and P&L management for service organizations.
  • Deep understanding of medical capital equipment (e.g., imaging systems, surgical robots, or diagnostic tools) and regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in local languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% across SEA and Emerging Markets.
  • Certifications in project management (PMP) or Lean/Six Sigma are highly desirable.
