Responsibility
- Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of candidate applications to ensure alignment with job requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, assessments, and background checks for potential seafarers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, evaluations, and hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide exceptional candidate experience by offering timely updates, feedback, and support throughout the hiring process.
- Utilize various recruitment platforms and tools to source, attract, and engage top talent.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all recruitment activities.
- Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment, candidate screening, or a similar role, preferably in the maritime or logistics industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of maritime industry standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Filipino or other languages is an advantage.
