Responsibility

  • Conduct thorough screening and evaluation of candidate applications to ensure alignment with job requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews, assessments, and background checks for potential seafarers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, evaluations, and hiring decisions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Provide exceptional candidate experience by offering timely updates, feedback, and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Utilize various recruitment platforms and tools to source, attract, and engage top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all recruitment activities.
  • Assist in the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, candidate screening, or a similar role, preferably in the maritime or logistics industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of maritime industry standards and regulations is a plus.
