Responsibility
- Perform calibration and maintenance of precision measurement instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on equipment to identify and resolve any discrepancies or malfunctions.
- Document calibration procedures, results, and maintenance activities in accordance with company protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain an organized inventory of calibration tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Stay updated with the latest calibration techniques, tools, and industry regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other team members as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Calibration Technician or in a similar role, preferably in the instrumentation or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement standards, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in using calibration software and tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites or other company locations as required.
